PhyLogic Increases Redundancy with Expanded Team Coverage

Anyone walking the halls or visiting the billing floors of PhyLogic recently may have curiously noticed Reimbursement Specialists sporting various colors of customized “Team PhyLogic” baseball jerseys. Is it all part of some sort of local softball tournament? Well….not exactly.

As you may know, PhyLogic formalized a small-team approach to servicing our clients last year. With team nicknames such as “The Money Makers”, “Back in Black” and “The Revenue Devils”, these teams have taken on their own personalities and flourished. The different teams specialize in servicing different types of practices or medical specialties allowing for improved communications and cross coverage within the team. Importantly, Reimbursement Specialists within the team still provide the one-on-one client service as always.

In order to increase additional client coverage, PhyLogic has recently increased employee cross-coverage in three main areas including charge entry, payment posting, and insurance/patient follow-up.

What does this mean to our clients? First and foremost, it means that should your main representative or Reimbursement Specialist be absent for any reason, service would continue without interruption or service gaps. Other members of the small team would be very familiar with the practice, and would take over without delay. It also means that clients will have increased resources at their disposal. The only significant functional change clients may note are a few additional team members in the system following-up on past due claims or posting a charge or payment.

“The individual, one-on-one customer service model has proved to extremely successful for both PhyLogic and our clients. The increases in cross coverage ensure that this service is enhanced, while simultaneously achieving increased stability for our clients, in the event of unforeseeable employee-related concerns such as medical leaves,” stated PhyLogic President, Markus Muhlhauser. He continued, “It must be stressed that PhyLogic clients will still have their current personal representatives and supervisors."
