Team PhyLogic is at it again in 2008! The PhyLogic Healthcare sponsored cycling team has its first major charity cycling event coming up on June 8, 2008. Members of Team PhyLogic will be riding in the annual “Tour de Cure” to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
The team is asking anyone who is able to make a donation of any size to support the team in our 100km ride for charity. Every dollar counts and the proceeds all go to a very worthy cause! No amount is too small and every penny is greatly appreciated. Click here to donate/sponsor securely online!
Team PhyLogic also gets a new look for 2008. New uniforms were designed between the seasons and the team is getting quite a few compliments on the unique modern design (see picture inset).

Team PhyLogic is comprised of approximately one dozen cyclists of varying experience. Team members ride and/or compete in various events including road biking, mountain biking and triathlons. There are two main focuses of the team:
“PhyLogic’s sponsorship of the team represents our commitment to the community” stated Markus Muhlhauser, CEO of PhyLogic Healthcare. “We firmly believe that as a company, and as a family, we have a responsibility to be good corporate citizens and a have a positive impact on those in need. Team PhyLogic allows us to volunteer our time and place financial resources for very worthy causes.” PhyLogic Healthcare is the main corporate sponsor of the team. Markus plans on actively participating in all team charity events this year.
PhyLogic Healthcare has been an active sponsor of numerous charitable organizations such as the Home-to-Home Foundation, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation, American Lung Association, The Children’s Miracle Network and the American Diabetes Association.
Team PhyLogic is open to new members of any skill level. Whether you are just beginning, or if you are a seasoned cyclist, all are welcome. All you need is a great attitude and a willingness to have fun! If you are interested in joining the team or if you have any questions regarding our charity functions, please contact Marc Seta, Team Captain at marcseta@msn.com.
Please note that PhyLogic is planning another charitable event later in the year. The event will likely be a 100 mile ride (also known as a “century”) to raise money for the Home-to-Home foundation. Details will be posted on the PhyLogic.com website when they become available.
To those who sponsor our riders donating to the charities, we sincerely thank you and appreciate your contributions!!!
