Medicare to Hold Payments
Congressional pay fix to delay the SGR physician pay cut expires on June 1, 2010. CMS says it will hold claims for the first 10 business days of June (or, until June 14). However, claims won't be processed at the reduced payment rate right away. This may buy Congress enough time to adopt a Medicare "pay fix" and provide an increase to your reimbursements for the final six months of 2010.
