Tornado Relief Update...

As many of you may remember, on June 1st, 2011, the Greater Springfield, Massachusetts area was hit by a tornado that affected many communities and families. The PhyLogic family met the day after the tornado here at our Springfield headquarters and decided that we would establish a tornado relief fund. Through the efforts of our employees and our valued clients and vendors we were able to raise $1500.
Keeping the theme of family in mind we were able to identify a local family who lost their entire home and all of their belongings as a result of the storm. On Wednesday, August 3rd, CEO and President Markus Muhlhauser along with Kim Paradis, Manager of Billing Operations, met with James and Shelly Channing along with their 10-month-old son, Bobby, to present them a gift basket.
As we are all aware, insurance policies do not always cover the immediate needs of such a devastating loss. The Channings were very grateful and humbled by this gesture and have asked us to pass along their heartfelt appreciation for everyone’s generosity.
